We, the descendants of those who served in the First New Hampshire Regiment of Cavalry or in the Second Battalion New Hampshire Cavalry which was a part of the First R.I. Cavalry during the war of the rebellion, do unite in permanent association through annual fellowship reunion in order to preserve and perpetuate the memory of our ancestors and the appreciation of their sacrifices in the strengthening of our Nation.
